LODGING: Cabins || Ranch
Meals

At
the heart of the ranch is the magnificent lodge. This giant spruce-log
structure rises 40ft at the apexes with high windows that spill light
and at its center, a mighty double sided fireplace inlaid with turquoise
that separates the dining room from the comfortably arranged couches
and living areas of the East Room. The lodge also houses the Library,
the Office/Trading Post, Rec Room and kitchen, and is skirted on three
sides by a vast porch complete with rocking chairs and hummingbirds.
Nearby are the heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, and the volleyball/basketball
court.
The
ranch buildings form a secluded cluster overlooking the valley and
the river below. The surrounding country is completely unspoiled and
the scene brings new appreciation to the word serenity. Below the
lodge lie the river and the meadows in which the horses pasture. Here
also are the barn, corrals, arena and a beautiful riverside area for
ranch cookouts. A mile and a half of private fishing is here at your
doorstep, not to mention many creeks and lakes within an easy hike
or drive.
Comfortable RTR
Cabins - The guest cabins are picturesquely grouped amongst
the aspen and Ponderosa pine close to the lodge. Configurations vary
from quaint two-bedroom cabins to larger three-bedroom cabins with
living rooms and fireplaces. All are beautifully appointed in western
themes and each has a wonderful porch and view. The cabins are unique
in that most are built from aspen logs, as opposed to the more common
pine. Daily housekeeping is provided for all cabins.

LODGING: Cabins || Ranch
Meals

Ranch Meals
- Each meal is a special occasion here at the ranch. Our chef is a
graduate of the Denver Culinary School of Arts and we take great care
in the preparation and serving of every dish. This is home cooking
in the traditional sense. Most everything is prepared from scratch,
and baking is a specialty. In addition to the wonderful entrees such
as steak, ribs, fresh trout, tenderloin and turkey, we always have
an abundance of vegetables, fruits and salads. Meals are served family
style with all you care to eat. Consideration is given to the requirements
of children as well as those with special dietary needs. During the
week we take advantage of the wonderful weather by having frequent
barbecue cookouts, which are always a highlight.
While we do not serve alcohol, we do have a BYOB policy here
at the ranch. You can either ship or bring your own alcohol, or we’d
be happy to pick up what you request on our twice-weekly town runs.

Whether at the riverside barbeque,
pool cookout or in the magnificent dining room at the lodge, meals
are a great time here at Rainbow Trout Ranch. Families can sit together,
or mingle and meet new friends amongst other guests or staff members.
The coffee is hot and delicious, the desserts are mouthwatering and
there is always something fun to do afterwards…
